Ah, it's been quite a nice week this week, a kind-of break inbetween things. My training courses are starting to tail off, and a fair few things outside of work have been done too. It's not all finished, but I felt like a couple days doing not much was in order! I've also noticed that it's actually quite hard to play Beatmania IIDX on a Beatmania controller... but I have gotten the right charger...

I'm starting to get to that point in my career, when I've realised that I really need to push in order to start working my way upward. The only problem, which I guess is what most people find, is not finding the inspiration to do it, but the time and energy. I think right now I'm running out of both...

Man am I tired...

Just finished the first draft of my first freelance project in a long time, been at least a year now. Doesn't quite hit you how rusty your skills have gotten until you tackle something entirely on your own, because at work if you get stuck on this or that, usually someone in your office, or at least around the building (mailing lists often come to my rescue) knows whats wrong.

After a relatively short career in web design and development, I thought it was time that I setup my own website, just as somewhere to showcase my work and as a collection of resources that I could keep track of.
